Artek was established in 1935 to market furniture, lamps and fabrics designed by Alvar Aalto. A long tradition as a manufacturer of outstanding articles for daily use has made Artek an internationally know and recognized quality design brand.
From the 1930’s architect Alvar Aalto created his own style of design objects inspired by man and nature. His beautiful and functional furniture is still very popular around the world in spite of our ever changing tastes.
