MAKU is a range of wooden serving plates and ceramic dishes. Named after the Finnish word for ‘taste’, the plates and dishes can be used to serve cakes, breads, desserts, tapas, sushi, olives, or other tasty bites.
The MAKU Gift series includes two sizes of wooden plate’s and two sizes of ceramic dishes. The modular design of the ceramic dishes means their arrangement can be mixed. The dishes are also stackable.
Available in Finishes of oak or walnut wood, the plates are both durable and light. The serving plates are covered in natural cotton oil to protect them. They may be washed with a damp sponge. More oil can be applied with time. The ceramic dishes are made of vitreous porcelain and are microwave and dishwasher proof.
The Medium gift set comprises of a 12” serving tray in either Oak or Walnut with 4 3×3 inch ceramic dishes.
The Large gift set comprises of a 24” serving tray with 2 3×3 dishes, 1 3×6 dishes and 1 3×9 inch dish
